“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins,” (Matthew 1:21).
Jesus (Yeshua) means Yahweh saves. So who will save His people? “Yahweh” or “Yahweh saves?” Yes!
Jesus’ birth represents a new Genesis for humanity. Humanity was hopeless to save itself so we needed a solution outside of ourselves. Jesus came, not of human origin, to be our only hope.
